Carcassonne Expansion 5: Messengers & Mayors (V3.1) is the 2025 English edition of the fifth Carcassonne expansion from Hans im Glück, adding mayors, messengers and scarecrows to the game. Send your mayor into a city to compete with rival knights for control, then use your messenger and scarecrow to stretch your influence across the board.
Six town hall tiles join twelve new land tiles to open up fresh city-building choices, making this a strong pick for groups who enjoy the competitive side of Carcassonne and want more interaction between players. The Carcassonne base game is required to play.
