The Army Painter Wargamer Brush: Layering

The Army Painter Wargamer Brush: Layering is a size 1 round brush from the Wargamer range, made with The Army Painter's Bionic Bristles, a high-quality, animal-free synthetic fiber. The tip is full enough to build up layers on your miniatures in smooth, even strokes, yet fine enough for most of the detail work on a tabletop model.

It is the everyday workhorse for layering and highlighting: work up from the basecoat in thin coats, pick out raised edges, and refine transitions on faces, cloaks and armor. The strong, sturdy bristles handle standard acrylics and one-coat paints such as Speedpaint, and synthetic hair holds up better to one-coat paints than natural hair. A triangular handle gives a flexible, firm grip, and a protective cap keeps the point in shape between sessions.
