Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin #1 2nd Printing Variant (Escorza) (Near Mint)

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin #1 2nd Printing Variant is the second printing of the first issue of IDW's five-issue mini-series, released December 9, 2020. Its re-colored Escorza brothers cover shows the Ronin from behind under a green moon. The oversized 48-page issue opens the story based on Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird's unpublished 1987 concept, set in a dark future where the last surviving Turtle seeks revenge on the Foot Clan for his fallen family.

IDW went back to press with a 50,000-copy second printing, the largest reprint in its history at the time. The green moon and orange skyline set it apart from the fourth printing (same art, red moon and blue sky) and from the first printing's Kevin Eastman cover.
