Citadels Duel is Z-Man Games' two-player board game reimagining of Bruno Faidutti's award-winning Citadels, released in October 2026 and designed by Guillaume Montiage and Manuel Rozoy. Rival planners build one shared city, choosing characters with unique powers each round, swaying a new council board and placing the King's Guard to protect their districts. Games take about 30 minutes, ages 14 and up.
Rebalanced and faster than the original, it rewards bluffing, timing and reading your opponent, with more ways to block plans and steal resources. When the city is complete, districts, gold and council seats decide the winner. A strong pick for Citadels fans who want a quick head-to-head game.
Bonus: Each copy comes with an exclusive Hobby Next Citadels Duel neoprene playmat, while supplies last.
