Memoir '44 is a historical World War II board game in which two commanders face off across stylized recreations of famous battles including Omaha Beach, Pegasus Bridge, Operation Cobra and the Ardennes. Players deploy infantry, paratroopers, tanks, artillery and resistance fighters using Command and Tactic cards, resolving combat with dice on a double-sided hex board covering both beach landings and open countryside.
The core set includes over 20 scenarios, each mirroring the historical terrain, troop placement and objectives of the real engagement. This refreshed edition features redesigned miniatures, new storage trays and army boxes, and expanded scenario content. Existing expansions remain compatible.
